The Central Structure of DFTQC comprises three major Division namely Food Quality Control Division Food Technology Development and Training Division and Central Food Laboratory There is one nutrition section named as National Nutrition Programme and One SPS Enquiry Point within the central structure of DFTQC also accompanies five Regional offices at Biratnagar, Hetuada, Bhairahwa, Nepagung & Dhangadhi; Kakarvitta, Birgunj & Mahendranagar at Nepal-India Boarder and Tatopani at Nepal-China Boarder). Additionally the structure also expands to 20 Districts Inspection Units including one Inspection unit at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu. As its extention of Karnli Zone, there is one apple processing center at Jumla Districts Headquaters.
