Under the department, there
are five regional offices in five development regions. All
the regional offices are mainly engaged in food/feed quality
control activities such as food inspection, sample collection,
analysis of samples, prepare cases if found violations of
food/feed laws as well as on food safety and quality. Likewise,
these offices conduct food processing trainings, consumer
awareness as well as food and nutrition activities. |
